Tatum Survey: Growth Nearly at a Standstill

Each month the executive services firm Tatum surveys its nationwide professionals regarding economic and business conditions.  Located in 33 offices across the U.S., Tatum is the nation's largest executive
services firm serving more than 3,000 companies in a variety of industries.

As of January 1, 2008, their survey reported that the worsening business trends of recent months has leveled off.  With the exception of significant declines in capital expenditure commitments, all of the survey's monthly indicators were flat or slightly improved from the December 1, 2007, survey.  While technology companies remained the strongest business segment, healthcare companies slid to the lowest ranking.
