In the latest Investment Outlook from PIMCO, Bill Gross offers his forward-looking views on the global economy and investing. Gross opines that the world economy will be marked by delevering, deglobalization, and reregulating. One of his conclusions is that "we will move significantly away from the free market model that has dominated capitalistic countries for the past 25 years."
Regarding the future of investing, Gross expects higher risk premiums, higher volatility, and lower asset prices for a majority of asset classes. Not surprisingly, bond behemoth PIMCO once again recommends income-producing assets over growth assets. Click here for their April Investment Outlook.
