Evergreen Investments' Market Outlook for April 2009

After the recent actions by the Fed and Treasury, Evergreen Investments' Chief Market Analyst, John K. Lynch, provides us with his forecast on the economy and the markets.

"As the lagged-effects of monetary policy and Treasury/FDIC activity gradually take hold, we look for the early signs of a floor in housing and a ceiling on the unemployment rate to begin to develop by the fourth quarter, where pent-up consumer demand may finally combine with government spending to help push GDP back into positive territory."
