Siegel: Credit Markets Improve, But Earnings Disappoint

In his latest weekly commentary on the economy and financial markets, Professor Jeremy J. Siegel of the Wharton School highlighted two items:  While there is "undeniable healing in the credit markets," corporate earnings in the second quarter came in "a bit below April estimates after strong early showings."  Most of the earnings shortfall came from the energy sector.  Please click here for the full commentary.
