PIMCO's Updated Three- to Five-Year Outlook

Mohamed El-Erian, PIMCO's CEO, recently outlined the firm's three- to five-year outlook for the global economy and markets.  The building blocks for their outlook included considerable differentiation among regions and countries, "large and mounting structural headwinds" facing the U.S., and the potential evolution from disinflation to inflation.

El-Erian also addressed the issues that could render the firm's outlook to be too dour or too optimistic. Click here for a fascinating and (in typical PIMCO fashion) sobering view of the issues facing the global markets.
