Siegel: Good Week for Economic Data

In his October 7 commentary, Wharton Professor Jeremy Siegel notes that the latest economic data puts to rest "any chance that the U.S. economy is entering a recession at this time."  He observes that private sector job growth, longer hours worked, and better than expected retail sales point to third quarter GDP growth of around 2.5%.
