Caitlin Markel, Analyst
Caitlin is an Analyst at Innovest. She is a member of the Due Diligence Group responsible for both qualitative and quantitative manager due diligence and recommendations to Innovest’s Investment Committee. Other responsibilities include the supervision of the reconciliation of custodial statements and thousands of security trades occurring monthly. She works directly with clients in maintaining account-reporting accuracy. In addition, she is responsible for maintaining Innovest portfolio software and coordinating all electronic delivery.
Caitlin attended Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas where she graduated Summa Cum Laude, earning a BA in Finance as well as a BA in Mathematics. At Benedictine she played varsity tennis for two years.
Prior to joining the Innovest team, Caitlin worked for Bank of Atchison in Atchison, Kansas where she had the responsibility of administering the Small Business Administration’s ARC Loan program at the bank. Designed to help small business owners experiencing economic hardship, she met with the business owners and determined if the requirements were met, wrote lender credit memorandums, and worked to close the loan with the bank.
Caitlin still enjoys playing tennis as well as watching and attending basketball and baseball games. In addition, she enjoys any and all time spent with her family, friends, and with her husband, Tim.
