Chris Meyer, Vice President
Chris is a vice president and consultant at Innovest. He provides consulting services to retirement plans and family clients. He is a member of the Due Diligence Group, responsible for independently sourcing investment managers, as well as monitoring recommended products and strategies. The group utilizes both quantitative and qualitative analysis evaluating performance, understanding return attribution, and meeting management teams both at Innovest and at their offices. The group works in conjunction with Innovest’s Investment Committee.
Chris earned his law degree from Notre Dame Law School, and received his undergraduate degree from Benedictine College with majors in economics and philosophy and a minor in mathematics.
Before joining Innovest, Chris worked in the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. There, he served as a law clerk to U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael E. Hegarty and as a fellowship law clerk to U.S. District Judge Christine M. Arguello.
Between college and law school, Chris spent four years working for the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS), a national campus ministry organization. With FOCUS, he worked with teams at George Mason University and the U.S. Naval Academy. He also managed a four-team region on the East Coast.
Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and children, backpacking, playing golf, and Fighting Irish football.
