Martin Walsh, Vice President
Martin is a Consultant and Vice President with Innovest Portfolio Solutions LLC. He is a member of Innovest’s Investment Committee, which makes decisions on investment related research and due diligence. Martin assists with business development efforts, focusing on non-profit and high net worth clients.
Prior to joining Innovest, Martin was a Director at Tribeca Companies, a San Francisco based private equity firm. He led capital raising efforts for Tribeca. The firm was focused primarily on distressed private real estate, having successfully completed several large acquisitions in the Western United States.
Previously, Martin was a Private Wealth Advisor at Goldman, Sachs & Company. Working as part of the Investment Management Division, he managed capital for high net worth families and foundations. He worked primarily with entrepreneurs and C level executives, many of whom created their wealth in Silicon Valley. Martin provided strategic and tactical investment advice to clients. He advised clients on all aspects of their balance sheet, coordinating investments with trust and estate planning and lending.
Martin is a graduate of the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. While at Georgetown, he worked for Senator John McCain in a foreign policy capacity. Martin holds an MBA from Yale School of Management, with concentrations in Finance and Investment Management.
Martin is active in the community. He serves on the Board of Directors at Boys Hope Girls Hope of Colorado. In addition, he is a member of the Denver Council on Foreign Relations and the Denver Active 20-30 Children’s Foundation.
