Steven Karsh, Principal, Director
Steven is a Principal and Director at Innovest. He is also a member of the firm’s Due Diligence Group which is responsible for both qualitative and quantitative manager due diligence. Steven has 20 years of experience in the investment industry ranging from consulting to management in both traditional and non-traditional asset classes.
After earning his MBA from George Washington University in 1990, Steven began his career at Cambridge Associates where he was a performance and equity attribution analyst. Mr. Karsh’s other investment consulting experience includes working as a senior research analyst at Innovest Portfolio Solutions from 1996-1999. His alternative investment experience includes designing and trading various futures programs for a family office as well as working on the Derivatives Desk at the Boston Company. Prior to Innovest, Steven was a research analyst for Trail Ridge Capital where he conducted both quantitative and qualitative due-diligence on a number of hedge funds and maintained the database of investment products producing monthly performance and risk reports for fund of hedge funds investors and private accounts.
