Zach Heath, Analyst Assistant
Zach is an analyst assistant at Innovest and collaborates with the Due Diligence and Portfolio Accounting Teams, which are responsible for sourcing investment managers, as well as monitoring recommended products and strategies. These teams also utilize both quantitative and qualitative analysis evaluating performance, understand return attribution, and meet management teams both at Innovest and at their offices.
Zach graduated from the Monfort College of Business at the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) in 2018, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance. He was a right-handed pitcher for the UNC Bears, and earned WAC All-Academic throughout his four-year career. While at UNC, he also participated in the Student and Foundation Fund (SAFF) class. The SAFF class contains student-managed portfolios comprised of different assets totaling more than $2 million. This class provides students with the unique opportunity to gain real-world experience by actively managing portfolios, diligently analyzing securities, and precisely following IPS guidelines. Upon completion of the class, students present to the Foundation Board and discuss the successes and lessons learned throughout the semester.
During his free time Zach enjoys golfing, watching sports, and giving back to the community.
