Employee Spotlight: Peter Girard
1. Where is your hometown?
I grew up in a small town in southern New Hampshire. Since moving to Colorado, I have easily acclimated to a much sunnier winter season in Denver.
2. Tell us something unique about you.
My first summer job was picking blueberries at a blueberry farm. I learned a lot about patience, as it takes a lot of blueberries to fill up a 5-gallon bucket.
3. What do you like best about working at Innovest?
I am fortunate to work with some very talented colleagues. Innovest’s ability to attract professionals who fit into our stewardship culture makes it a rewarding environment to be a part of.
4. How do you give back to the community?
A great benefit of working at Innovest is the many opportunities afforded to us to serve our local community in Denver. I try to participate in as many of those events as I can. Additionally, my wife and I are active members of our parish.
5. What are your hobbies and interests?
I try to get to the Rockies as often as possible to fish, hike, and ski. I also enjoy grilling and spending time with our family and friends.
6. Tell us about your family.
My wife Molly and I just celebrated our third wedding anniversary and are close to our daughter Josie’s second birthday. Josie is a very adventurous and energetic girl who loves singing, climbing, and caring for her baby doll.
