Deana Berg
Vice President
Deana is a Vice President at Innovest Portfolio Solutions, where she leads retirement plan business development for government, corporate, and nonprofit clients. She brings more than 30 years of experience across the for-profit and nonprofit sectors, with a relationship-driven approach and ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and align interests toward long-term desired outcomes.
She began her career in the corporate sector in business development and marketing before transitioning to the nonprofit space, where she co-founded a statewide anti-trafficking initiative. In that role, she built and led coalitions across public and private sectors, working alongside state officials, grassroots groups, and law enforcement to advance legislation and mobilize support, contributing to the passage of more than 20 anti-trafficking laws and helping establish a sustained statewide response. She has remained actively engaged in anti-trafficking work for over two decades and continues to serve in leadership roles focused on combating exploitation and holding bad actors accountable.
Building on her experience across sectors, Deana returned to the private sector, leading investor relations and capital raising efforts for a commercial real estate firm. Most recently, she directed early-stage funding and strategic development for a startup.
Deana studied Communication Studies and Marketing at Azusa Pacific University. She currently serves as board chair of Justice Defense Fund, as a board member of Youth Reach Global, and the executive board of her church. She is an avid skier, cyclist, and hiker, and lives in South Denver with her husband and three children.
