Vice President

Joe Lemming serves as a Vice President and Consultant at Innovest Portfolio Solutions, where he supports individuals and nonprofit organizations in building and overseeing tailored investment portfolios. His work strengthens Innovest’s investment strategy through performance analysis, asset manager evaluation, and data‑driven insights that help guide portfolio decisions.

Joe also leads the Portfolio Accounting and Reporting teams, overseeing complex performance reporting for clients with both traditional and alternative investments. He collaborates closely with Innovest’s Research and Due Diligence teams to source and monitor asset managers. His work includes rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis, return attribution, and direct engagement with managers to ensure alignment with client goals and Innovest’s investment philosophy.

In addition to his client and investment responsibilities, Joe is an active member of Innovest’s NexGen Society, a leadership development group selected by the firm’s executive team to mentor future leaders and reinforce company culture. He also serves on Innovest’s hiring committee, helping identify and recruit top talent to support the firm’s continued growth and excellence.

Joe graduated summa cum laude from Benedictine College with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Economics. While at Benedictine, he was a member of the CAW Fellows, a student group managing a portion of the college’s endowment, and the Gregorian Fellows, which promotes ethical leadership in business.

Outside of work, Joe serves as Treasurer and Vice Chair for Catholic Sports, reflecting his commitment to mission-driven service. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Krista, along with hiking, playing, and watching sports, and connecting with friends and family.
