CEO, Principal & Co-Founder

Rich is the CEO and Co-Founder of Innovest Portfolio Solutions, bringing more than 40 years of investment consulting experience. He advises institutions and families, overseeing $60 billion in assets under advisement for over 400 clients. Under Rich’s leadership, Innovest has grown to 70+ employees, of whom 17 are partners. Rich has a Business Finance degree from Western Colorado University.

Rich has been a frequent author on fiduciary and investment-related matters. His thoughts have been published in Financial Advisor Magazine, Pensions & Investments, Accounting Today, Chief Executive, Family Office Magazine, and PLANSPONSOR, as well as in the National Catholic Register, Catholic News Agency, Compass Catholic, Christian Leadership Alliance, Philanthropy Daily, and the U.S. Christian Chamber of Commerce, among others. In addition, Rich has been a guest lecturer at conferences across the nation.

Rich has a long history of leadership and service with nonprofit, educational, and faith-based organizations. He is the founder of Katalyst, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting Catholics in the public square and previously served as President of Legatus of Colorado. His past board service includes Colorado Family Action, a family policy council established by Focus on the Family; Western Colorado University; and Arrupe Jesuit High School. Rich currently serves on the boards of the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame, Students for Life, Catholic Benefits Association, and John Paul the Great High School. He is also a member of the Board of Regents of the Augustine Institute and serves on the Presidential Advisory Council of the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS).

Rich and his wife, Joanie, have been happily married for more than 40 years and have two children, Alex and Reagan, and two grandchildren, Sofia Rose and James Todd.
