Sarah Newman

Sarah is a Principal and Director of Mission and Thought Leadership at Innovest, specializing in values-based investing and business development across faith-based and secular nonprofit markets. She brings more than 20 years of experience in the Christian ecosystem, spanning nonprofit development, marketing, faith alignment, and values-based investing.
A sought-after speaker, Sarah has spoken at conferences including the Diocesan Fiscal Management Conference, the Legatus National Summit, the Christian Leadership Alliance Outcomes Conference, and the Association of Business Administrators of Christian Colleges Conference. Sarah was the founding host and emcee of Innovest’s Christian Institutional Investors Conference, and she has led all three annual conferences to educate Christian organizations on values-based investing. Sarah is also a prolific author, having been published in Christian Leadership Alliance, the National Catholic Register, the Daily Signal, and the U.S. Christian Chamber of Commerce.
Sarah has held leadership roles at Seeds of Hope, Bella Health and Wellness, and Families of Character, building deep roots in the Christian nonprofit community. Before joining Innovest, she successfully ran her own small business for 15 years, supporting fundraising and advocacy for local nonprofits and excelling in sales and marketing.
Sarah was a member of the first FOCUS Bible study, organized by founder Curtis Martin, at the University of Northern Colorado. She currently serves on the board of Legatus Colorado, FIERCE Athlete, the Christian Leadership Alliance Advisory Council, the Arrupe Jesuit High School Jobs Board, and the Finance Committee for Seeds of Hope. She is also a Leonine Fellow.
Sarah holds a master's certification in Public Relations from the University of Colorado, a B.A. from West Chester University, and is a certified BoardSource consultant. She lives in South Denver with her husband and four children.
