Nancy Rimington

Vice President

Nancy is a Vice President and Consultant at Innovest. She provides consulting services to retirement plans, nonprofits, and families. Nancy is a member of the Innovest Investment Committee, which drives the firm’s investment-related research and due diligence. She is a member of the Capital Markets Research Group, which is responsible for monitoring the global macro-environment, asset allocation modeling, and portfolio construction. Additionally, Nancy is also a member of Innovest’s Retirement Plan and Nonprofit Practice Groups.

Prior to joining Innovest, Nancy worked in business development and relationship management for GW&K Investment Management. In this role, Nancy developed expertise in building strong partnerships with public and corporate retirement plans, foundations, endowments, nonprofits, and governmental entities. Before joining GW&K in 2014, Nancy served as a partner and director of institutional business development and client services for more than 10 years at Hoover Investment Management Company.

Nancy received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Azusa Pacific University. She also completed the Coaching for Leadership and Teamwork program at Babson College. Nancy is Co-Chair of the Advancement Board for Strong Women Strong Girls (SWSG), an organization that provides education and financial literacy programs to young women and children. She also volunteers as a mentor within the SWSG’s program for young adults.  Nancy is a board member on the Affiliate and Education Committee for the State Association of County Retirement Systems, SACRS. SACRS delivers actionable information to those managing public pension plans so they may be more effective stewards of those plans. Nancy is also an advisor to the Global Children’s Financial Literacy Foundation. The Foundation teaches children of all ages the importance of budgeting, saving, and investing.  Nancy is a board member of Economic Literacy Colorado (ELC) which empowers Colorado students to achieve a lifetime of economic understanding and financial freedom. Nancy is also a committee member for ELC’s program, Invest in Girls, which provides financial literacy and mentorship opportunities for high school girls, inspiring them to pursue a career in finance.

Nancy enjoys traveling, snow skiing, scuba diving, baking, and cooking. She is also a big Kansas City Chiefs fan.
